Shearing Challenge Fundraiser for the HEART FOUNDATION Saturday 12th April 2008

On Saturday 12th April 2008 "Just Shearing" is holding a "Shearing Challenge" as a fundraiser for the Heart Foundation. The event is being held on our grazing property "Darnivale" also the home of 'Just Shearing' near Eudunda.

Our fundraising challenge is a shearing challenge for shearers from the novice to the open to the masters.

Hi There All!

This is a first for us as we have only been operating (Just Shearing) for just over a year and we decided to do something for a worthy cause! We chose the Heart Foundation, as in November 1990 Kev's Dad passed away from a sudden heart attack at the age of 55. Prior to Kev's Dad's heart attack there had been NO warning signs. In his younger years he was a part time shearer in the local district of Eudunda. In fact Kev took over some of his sheds and is still shearing in some of them today. For us this ties in well for the recipient - the Heart Foundation - and the shearing industry.

Soon we will be adding a flier on the website that you can print or download and email to your friends about  our event.

All donations over $2 is tax deductible - a receipt will be issued via this deposit site which is ran by the Heart Foundation.
