Shearing Challenge Fundraiser for the HEART FOUNDATION Saturday 10th April 2010 8:30am to 5:00pm

With 230 attending this year & $2,600 raised so far, a great day was had by all.

On Saturday 10th April 2010 "Just Shearing" is holding a "Shearing Challenge" as a fundraiser for the Heart Foundation.

Come and enjoy a family day at the bi-annual Just Shearing & Heart Foundation Shearing Challenge Fundraiser.
Lots of fun & enjoyment held on the farm of Darlene & Kevin Jenke - "Darnivale". Also the Home of Just Shearing. Register for the shearing challenge, Morning tea competition, Come have a go at shearing, watch the Alpaca shearing. Visit the face painter and more! Why not come travel a day out to the country and enjoy!

Hi There All!

We decided two years ago to do something for a worthy cause! We chose the Heart Foundation, as in November 1990 Kev's Dad passed away from a sudden heart attack at the age of 55. Prior to Kev's Dad's heart attack there had been NO warning signs. In his younger years he was a part time shearer in the local district of Eudunda. In fact Kev took over some of his sheds and is still shearing in some of them today. For us this ties in well for the recipient - the Heart Foundation - and the shearing industry.
